Markus Byerley performs acoustic versions of songs from a wide variety of styles and decades. With his rhythmic style on guitar and foot-stomping accompaniment, he will have you tapping your toes and singing along with some of your favorite songs.
Based in Monroe, Wisconsin Markus performs in the Northwest Illinois / Southwest Wisconsin region.
Markus will take you on a musical journey, from singing an emotional ballad that will give you the “feels” to getting you on your feet to dance to some of you favorite songs. He loves songs that tell a story as well as songs that tell a joke!
A long and varied set list allows Markus to play for many different audiences. Oldies? Sure. Country? No problem. 70’s and 80’s classic rock? Got it covered. 90’s grunge? Can do. Modern music? Always adding new songs. Markus says “If it’s a good song and I can come up with an arrangement that works for acoustic guitar and my voice, I am going to play it.”
